The Blue Haven, Kinsale
I happened upon The Blue Haven hotel wherein I had an amazing fish and sea-themed dinner. Just off the Main Street, it is hard to miss this establishment, nor walk past the delicious smells flowing from its doorways.
For starters, I had a huge pot of mussels tossed in garlic butter and white wine sauce, followed by two fish tacos and salted potatoes skins, washed down with a single shot of Sea Dog Jamaican Rum. The tacos were a blessing, packed with colour and texture, but the mussels stole the show. They were so good I ate them entirely before I remembered to snap them, so enjoy looking at the empty shells. A fantastic dinner.
